The Du Bois AVR’90 Cross is a cross-country race held annually in the Rucphen region, organized by the athletics club AVR ’90. The event not only fuels athletic ambition, but also adds an element of enjoyment: various courses, a lively atmosphere, and participation in the ARWB cross-country ranking.
The cross is run on and around the athletics track at Sportpromenade in Rucphen. There are routes of varying distances, so both young runners and experienced athletes will find their challenge. The times are adjusted per category — from beginners to masters — making it an inclusive sports event.
Support on the day itself is organized: registrations, starting numbers, timekeeping and facilities around the course. It is attractive for participants to run multiple cross events: the Du Bois AVR’90 Cross counts towards the final ranking of the ARWB cross competition.
