On Monday 10 August 2026, Alderman Wesley Tack of the municipality of Rucphen will officially open the recently built bird hide.
The bird hide has been built from sustainable materials by Heemtuin volunteers, together with volunteers from the Rucphen Nature Work Group.
The opening will be preceded by a presentation on the preparations and construction of the bird hide, accompanied by a cup of coffee or tea.
Subsequently, the invited guests, Councillor Tack and the volunteers who built the hide will make their way to the bird hide, where the official opening will take place.
From the birdwatching hide, visitors, both young and old, can admire the many birds in the garden. The hide will also play a role during the school project, when school classes visit the local nature garden.
