The poetry route was created through a poetry competition and runs through special locations in the municipality's rural area. Spread over 10 kilometres, there are 10 poems to read. Seven poems are by well-known writers, such as Annie M.G. Schmidt. Three poems were created by local poets Ton Jaspers, Rietje Vergouwen and Alice van Duffelen. Each poem relates to the landscape that passers-by are currently seeing.
